All you have to do is say "Journey" and people seem to sink into a reverie of nostalgia. Their style was, and is, completely unique. Thanks to the sincerity of their lead singer's voice, millions of people still "get a vibe on" by their numerous hit's, of which "Don't Stop Believin" is the greatest. Every beer hall in the world is accompanied by this song. :ahoy:

I loved working on this manip, and listening to the song at the same time, although I laid off the sauce.

The "small town girl" is the incomparable Brianna, of angel-in-waiting31. The picture is used by permission. Thanks, Bri!

Her icon.....:iconangel-in-waiting31:

The charming old train is from stock at Galerie de Montmartre....

Check out the Journey video from back in the day! It's on You Tube, and this is a nice nostalgia trip

Just a small town girl, livin in a lonely world
She took the midnight train goin anywhere
Just a city boy, born and raised in south detroit
He took the midnight train goin anywhere

A singer in a smokey room
A smell of wine and cheap perfume
For a smile they can share the night
It goes on and on and on and on

Strangers waiting, up and down the boulevard
Their shadows searching in the night
Streetlight people, living just to find emotion
Hiding, somewhere in the night

Working hard to get my fill,
Everybody wants a thrill
Payin anything to roll the dice,
Just one more time
Some will win, some will lose
Some were born to sing the blues
Oh, the movie never ends
It goes on and on and on and on

(chorus)

Dont stop believin
Hold on to the feelin
Streetlight people

This may very well have been the last song that Tony Soprano ever heard. "Don't stop-" (Cut to black) 😎👍
